Early 19th c. 3 piece English Gilt Amari Design Tureen, from U.S. Grant Family

We are offering An important early 19th c., 3 piece English Small Tureen with Underplate, Bowl, and Lid, in the English Imari Pattern Blue, Orange and Gold colors with Gilt details. The lid has the traditional Breaking Wave knob and the side handles are shaped as animal heads. Purchased from the U.S. Grant family estate. We have attached an Estate paper from the Grant family stating the provenance. Approximate Dimensions: Underplate: 1 1/8" high x 8 1/4" x 6 1/2" Bowl: 2 3/4" x 7 7/8" x 4 5/8" Lid: 3" high Overall: 5 3/4" high Condition: Very Good age-related condition, some rubbing to the gilt details. Minute flake to rim of the bowl very hard to see. Please see all photos for a complete description. Discoloration to the inside of the bowl can be removed with peroxide.
