I’ve taken pieces into Mission Gallery over the years and always been treated with respect, given information (with references in books, auction guides, etc when I asked) and walked away with CASH in less than 30 minutes.
We purchased several rare paintings and a huge Chinese vase and were concerned about possible damage to them while going from California to New York. Jim (one of the owners) told us ‘not to be concerned’ as they have been packing and shipping fine art and fragile antiques around the country for 30+ years. And just as he said, the items arrived exceptionally well protected and crated and we are enjoying our new treasures immensely!
This place has plenty to offer, there is truly something for everyone here! The curation of the fine art made me feel like I was in a museum. And the owners are so knowledgeable and passionate about antiques and their business. I highly recommend!!
