Danish Vintage by Carl M. Cohr Fredericia Sterling Serving Spoon Fork, Salad Set We are offering... A beautiful 2 piece salad serving set adorned with a pattern of grape, leaf, and flower motifs. The pattern is known as COH30 Pierced Leaves and Berries. As best we know, the pattern is from somewhere between 1949-1976. Marked with “Cohr”, designed by Carl M. Cohr, manufactured in Fredericia This set would be a lovely addition to any sterling collection. Carl M. Cohr (1860-1925) was a Danish silversmith who took over the workshop of his father Ditlef (1829-1883) when he died. Carl M. Cohr's factory in Fredericia, Denmark created some of the finest silverware in Denmark. From the beginning of the 20th century, Cohr was a competitor of Georg Jensen Co., drawing top design talent and building the largest silverware factory of its time. * International recognition came after the world exhibition in Brussels 1935 and Paris 1937. During the 1950s, great success and recognition was brought on company’s name. Einar Cohr (Carl M. Cohr’s son) eventually took over management and design in 1959. *Not monogrammed Markings: “Cohr Sterling Denmark” Approx. Dimensions: 9" long each. Approx. Weight: 231.53 grams total.
