19th Century Victorian Onyx, Solid Gold & Pearl Mourning Necklace & Earrings We are offering... A gorgeous 19th century Victorian Onyx, solid gold, & pearl mourning necklace and earrings. The long necklace is made of long rectangular onyx bead constructed in an interesting mid 19th century design. The beads are linked together with a gold wire that passes through and twists upon itself. The necklace has an oval onyx pendent with 25 small sea pearls in a gold bell flower design. The earrings have screw back clasps with layered white and black onyx. Attached to the base of the earrings are square and circular onyx beads. The piece came in this antique box and may be orignal to the set The screw earrings are a 20th century alteration and are marked 10K. The circular small gold clasp attached to the pendent is also a 20th century replacement marked 10K. The rest of the gold on the pieces have been tested and are 14K gold. Approx.
