A wonderful English watercolor landscape country scene
with two men fishing.
The artists is Benjamin Herring Jr. well listed and noted
Equestrian artist, who was also noted for his
country watercolor paintings.
The scene is set along a river, in a wooded area
with a bridge and country cottage in the background.
With the artists use of bright autumn colors,
and intricate detail, the painting comes alive.
The painting is signed and dated 1852, in the lower left,
and also signed and dated on the back of the painting.(see photos)
The piece has been matted and framed
and is ready to be hung.
Condition: This beautiful original watercolor is in very, very good age-related condition. No issues.
