A wonderful 19th C bronze cherub girl figural statue in the style of Louis
Kley (1833-1911). The young girl with a very haunting look, has crossed
arms holding two arrow quivers. The very heavy statue may have once been
attached to a base. (Note: The piece free stands very well)
The French artist, Louis Kley (1833-1911), became famous for creating Art
Nouveau bronze & gypsum sculptures. He carved some sculptures of children
as well as animals, with themes of mythology & allegory.

This antique bronze figural statue is in beautiful age-related condition. The
cherub's wings have been removed a long time ago, as shown by evidence
