Niels Erik From, born in 1908 and passed away in 1982, was a renowned Danish silversmith and designer. He began his career in the early 1930s and became known for his contributions to the Danish Arts and Crafts movement, which was prominent during his early years in the craft. From dedicated his life to the art of silversmithing, creating exquisite pieces of jewelry and other silverware.
In the early 1960s, Niels Erik From's son joined the company and took over its operations following his father's death. The company continued to thrive under his management. However, the business eventually closed its doors in the late 1980s, marking the end of an era for N E From.
