Antique Japanese Heavy Bronze Floral Urn Vase Meiji Period Electrified

This beautiful antique Japanese bronze vase has been converted into a lamp. It has a baluster body set on a splayed foot. The bronze vase, urn is expertly decorated in high relief with flowers, leaves and tendrils

The quality of the bronze relief, the naturalistic floral designs are a great example of the Japanese craftsmanship during the Meiji period. This work is unsigned. The vase weighs approximately 10 lbs. The heavy bronze vase has been electrified to make a beautiful lamp.
