We are offering...
A beautiful 20th century Chaika (the english translation of Чайка) gilt
filagree watch with hand painted enamel panels.
The intricate filigree link band holds in the enamel panels. There are
three enamel panels with a hand painted multicolored floral pattern.
The dial cover spring and latch is strong and works properly and opens and closes securely.
The watch dial is round with roman numerals and black hands. The dial is marked “Чайка
17 kamner” (jewels), and the serial number is 164403.
The watch comes with its original cardboard box.
We wound the watch and ran it for four days.
The watch runs well and appears to keep accurate time,
however we make no service guarantees,
as it was not serviced by us.

The Factory is located on the banks of the Volga river just north of Moscow there is the ancient
city of Uglich. It has been there for more than 60 years. The brand name Chaika was in
honor of the first female cosmonaut, Valentina Tereshkova, as that was her call sign.
