We are offering a beautiful Taxco Silver
Starfish Brooch or Pin
The Pin was created and Manufactured by William Spratling,
the man who started the Silver Industry in Taxco, Mexico, in 1931.
This is an early William Spratling Starfish, probably made
in the early 1940's, before the Mexican Silver Eagle mark
which was used from 1948 forward.
Marked with the Spratling Logo, and marked Spratling Silver.
fyi: the very small hole on the back, right of Spratling Mark,
is a pressure compensating hole from when the silver was made.
Condition: Very Good, age related minor scuffs from use.
Dimensions: approximately 1 1/2" x 1 1/2"
