c. 1780's George III Inlaid Mahogany Chest on Chest Dresser with Bracket Feet We are offering... A beautiful c. 1780's. George III inlaid mahogany chest on chest dresser with bracket feet. There are 7 full drawers and two small drawers at the top of the dresser. Each drawer is bordered with a thin inlay. There is also a beautiful inlay on each of the chamfered corners as well as on the top and bottom of the chest. There are escutcheons on all of the drawers except for the top two which have the key holes right above the brass pull handles. Drawers are dovetail jointed and currently have a paper liner in all except one drawer that can easily be taken off. Back has boards showing its age including an old cloth repair. Approx. Dimensions: Height: 70 3/4" Width: 44" Depth: 20 1/2" Condition: Item is in great age related condition. Has some nicks and scuffs. Few veneer patches. Please see all photos for complete description.
