We are offering a wonderful landscape by noted early 20thc artist 
Whitney Myron Hubbard (1875-1965)  
Hubbard attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT and was affiliated with the artist's colony at Old Lyme, Connecticut through his teacher Frank Vincent DuMond. 
Hubbard spent his early years in Connecticut with his family whose ancestors were some of the earliest settlers of the Connecticut River Valley. About 1888, they moved to Greenport. 
From 1899 to 1902, he taught public school on Long Island and then became a student at the Art Students League in New York. His only teacher was Frank Vincent DuMond, whom Hubbard followed for summer plein-air painting classes.
