19th Century MOP & Abalone Accordion Card Case Purse W/ Purple Silk Interior

A unique mother of pearl & abalone accordion card case purse. The case has mother of pearl and abalone in diamond form creating a star pattern on both sides. On the outside cloth binding of the case is royal purple velvet. The case has a clasp which can be clasped in two different holes. The interior of the case is purple silk and has 11 accordion pockets. There is gold gilding on the edge of the accordion pockets. The case has rounded corners and a hollow metal chain. Case can hold a standard 3 1/2" x 2" business card. Approx. Dimensions: Height: 4" Width: 2 1/2" Depth: 1/2" Condition: In great age related condition.
