Meiji Period (1868-1912) Japanese Child's Lacquerware Tea Set Hina Doll Miniatures We are offering... a beautiful Japanese miniature lacquerware tea set, with gold and black hand painted designs, and red on the inside. This is a 25 pc set, including tables, stands, cups, bowls, and lids. They are all lacquered wood, and hand made pieces, made for Hina Matsuri, Girls Day or Dolls Day in Japan. There are from the late Meiji period, and are in great condition for their age and size. This is one of the larger sets we have seen of these and would be a lovely addition to any Japanese collection. On the bases of some pieces are labels that read "Made in Japan". Approx.
