A very lovely and beautifully hand painted
Strasbourg, France, tin-glazed earthenware,
Faience Snuff Box.
The box is signed on the underside
with the date of 1750
and the mark is for the Paul Hannong factory
in Strasbourg, France.
This unusual shaped snuff box is hand painted and decorated
with flowers on the side borders.
The top has a lovely scene of a woman watering
the plants in her garden.
The box is hinged and has a tight fit.
It is in good order and can be used.
Dimensions: approximaely 1 1/2" at the highest point.
