A Bronze & Iron Steam Engine Model on wood stand 
It was presented to Walter Jones in 1866, 
of the Jones & Attwood Foundry in Stourbridge, England
The Model is complete with all valves 
and parts in working condition.
.
In partnering with James Watt, in the construction 
of Steam Engines, Walter Jones company 
became instrumental in bringing back 
the Boiler Maker business.

Walter Jones also wrote the classic textbook
"Heating by Hot Water", in 1894, which ran to three editions.  
Jones was a pioneer in determining the cause of
boiler explosions along with his young assistant
J Roger Preston.

Dimensions of model on wood stand:  7 1/2" x 16 1/2" x  6 1/2" high
                                 model alone         5 3/4"  x  14 1/2"  x 4 1/2" high
Weight:  Appx.  10 lbs.
Condition:  Excellent  age-related condition minor nicks & scratches to the wood stand 
                  one of the original feet has been repaired and polished
                  We took photos both in doors and outside to show contrast.
