A Miniature Oil painting
that is copy of a famous old master painting,
(Grape and Melon Eaters)
by 17th c. Spanish artist Bartolome Esteban Murillo.
Murillo was known for painting genre pictures
of the human condition of poverty and street beggars
at that time in Spanish history.
This is a beautiful 19th c. rendition of his painting,
with a wonderful period frame.
Very good age related condition
No apparent damage to the image
with some minor shrinkage cracks to the period bone frame.
