This is a 1950's Ex Voto Painting on Tin,

facing the Virgen de San Juan de Los Lagos.
The text gives thanks to the Virgen de San Juan de Los Lagos for
saving his cattle from danger, and dedicates this retablo in her honor.
This is an excellent piece of mexican folk art with lots of character.
