Jean Abendroth married Mr. Daley and they moved into Jean's home
(designed by Riqua) that she inherited from her aunt at 2705 Barnson Place,
Bankers Hill, San Diego, CA.
The painting comes with a framed photograph of Jean Abendroth Daley as a girl, c.1932.
The family's Bankers Hill mansion and original art and antiques collection
remained intact until it was dispensed in 2015.
Miss Abendroth's father was the first Concertmaster of the San Diego symphony;
he is credited as a founder
of the San Diego Symphony in 1927.

Jean Abendroth Daley studied with famed California painter,
Charles Reiffel, and participated in his student exhibition in 1935.
Jean and Dr. Arthur Daley's extensive art collection included works by
Charles Reiffel (1862-1942), Maurice Braun (1877-1941),
Alfred R. Mitchell (1888-1972), Charles Arthur Fries (1854-1940),
Henry George Keller (1869-1949), Everett Gee Jackson (1900-1995)
and Belle Baranceau (1902-1988).
Condition:
Excellent Clean Condition.Very small losses near signature, not easily noticed.
