C. 1800-1810 Sheffield Silver Plate Double Inkwell Stand The handmade Crystal inkwells sit uniquely inside their designated housings that are built with a design that matches the pattern on the feet of the tray. The candle holder top is removable and under is a small compartment, commonly used for wax. The bottom of the tray was not plated and is made of tin which correlates to the era it was assembled. Condition: Overall good condition. On the top of the tray, some of the silver plating is yellowed and worn off revealing the copper base that lies under, relative to its age.
