You're looking at a beautifully carved Japanese Meiji Period (1868 - 1912) Timber Bamboo 48 1/2" Tall Ikebana Vase
To date, we have not found another Meiji Timber Bamboo Vase as large as this one.
The monumental 48 1/2" tall standing "giant timber bamboo" stalk Vase is expertly and intricately carved; Ikebana is the Art of Flower Arranging, and dates as far back as the 13th century.
The natural curve of the bamboo combines aesthete beauty with reliable balance.
This majestic vertical bamboo vase is very stable.
