The style of this vase is known as Mamluk Revival
a manner of style that was popular during the late 1900's.
The Mamluks being rulers of much of Egypt & Syria
during the 13th to the early 16th centuries.
The vase is a slender baluster form with bulbous body,
narrow neck with a wide flaring trumpet mouth
and cylindrical foot.
The vase is formed from Brass and inlaid with Copper
and Silver producing a detailed decoration and
scrolling Arabesque designs with Arabic lettering.
