Salvador Vaca Terán (1920 – 1974) Known primarily as a Mexican modernist,
Salvador Terán was born in Taxco and was a cousin of the Castillo family
In 1939, he and his cousins left Spratling to establish Los Castillo.
They remained with the company for thirteen years before relocating to Mexico City.
Salvador’s interpretations were unique, with exuberate forms in overlapping planes,
resulting in pieces with great movement.
Stamped on the bottom with the makers marks.
