A beautiful 1840-60's Continental, (European), Walnut Trumpet Sewing Table with Inlay.
The octagonal top of the table has a delicate marquetry inlay in multiple colors and conforms nicely with the octagonal sewing box.
The table top folds up to access multiple sewing compartments retaining the original paper lining.
The octagonal box sits atop cabriole tripod legs. Notice the handsome carved walnut leaf design to the knees.
The table was hand made in sections. Sewing supplies are included.
