1907 Reed and Barton Large Sterling Silver Stuffing Spoon with (dish stop) Button in Francis I
An intricately designed serving and stuffing spoon with button for dish resting.
These serving spoons, called stuffing spoons, are also referred to as platter
spoons and also gravy spoons. The rare stuffing spoons have a button on the
back of the handle to keep the spoon in place as it rests on the edge of the platter or bowl.This significant piece has cast fruit and floral patterns within the inside of handle.
The Reed and Barton Hallmark is located on the back of the handle.
